Research Interests
My research interests skate the intersection between corporate finance, corporate strategy, and financial analysis, brought forth by empirical work of the Indian business groups. Using large data set and an extensive analysis it was found that Indian business groups' product diversification was negatively related to their profitability and shareholder value based measures. Past work also embraces capital market operations, corporate governance, and developmental issues.
