About Family

Pranam!! Welcome to my family page.

I am surprised to see you read this page too … are you not getting bored (?)

ü      Notice: By mentioning my caste (and sub caste) in the family tree below does not mean I am boasting of the same or proud of the same or otherwise!! It is just to convey more information about my background and self trappings …

I present here the family tree and its members (both, past and present):

The originating village for Kakani’s is Jayal (Near Didwana Town, Nagaur District, Rajasthan). The originating village of mother’s subcaste Jhawar is Ren (15 Kms from Merta City, Nagaur District, Rajasthan).

Of course, I have been born and brought up in the state of Andhra Pradesh (largely cultural capital of Andhra Pradesh i.e., Rajahmundry) and thus strongly influenced by the coastal Andhra thought process and culture.

About Parents:

ü      Bhaisa (father) was born and brought up in a large village of Maharashtra, namely, Dharmabad (Nanded District) and nearby areas (Bichkunda).

ü      Bai (mother) was born and brought up in the city of Pearls & Nizams, Hyderabad (once known as Bhagyanagar, the city of Fortune).

Text Box: A short note on the terminology used above: Chi stands for Chiranjeevi Bhava; Sow stands for Sowbhagyawati Bhava; and Smt. stands for Shrimati. These are common Indian salutations and blessings. A long and healthy life, along with good fortune, is the underlying note in these blessings. The following blessings might interest you:

ü      Chiranjeevi Bhava (May you live forever)
ü      Dheerghaayu Bhava (May you have a long life)
ü      Sowbhagyawati Bhava (May you have good fortune, to a woman)
ü      Akhand Sowbhagyawati Bhava (May you have unbroken good fortune, to a woman)
ü      Shata Putravati Bhava (May you bear a hundred sons, to a woman)

These terminologies have been used for ages. Today, even after thousands of years, the concept is relevant.
